Captain Mark Wright – Fort Pierce Fishing Guide & Charters

Captain Mark Wright has been making a living fishing the Indian River Lagoon and its connecting waters since 1992. Initially, he fished as a commercial fisherman – participating in several hook and line fisheries, including the summertime spotted seatrout fishery and the winter jigging fishery for pompano.

For last twenty years, Capt. Mark has been a full-time, professional fishing guide, helping anglers catch the trophy fish of a lifetime or simply sharing his passion and enjoyment for the outdoors through family-friendly, no pressure fishing charters!

Captain Mark’s passion for fishing the 160+ miles of the Indian River Lagoon began at the age of twelve when his family moved to Jensen Beach, Florida. Catching snook and trout from the areas many seawalls and bridges, kept him thrilled and entertained through his teen years and his passion continues today as a professional angler.

Today, Captain Mark guides the inshore flats and nearshore waters from Fort Pierce to Sebastian Inlet – targeting seatrout, snook, redfish and the “silver king” – tarpon. Of course these aren’t the only species caught in the diverse fishery of Fort Pierce!
